Perpetuating Learning Beyond the Campus Classroom

Malibu, California–December 6, 2014

Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management today celebrated the graduation of the online MBA’s inaugural class.

The Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University launched the online MBA two years ago. The online MBA is tailored for working professionals needing program flexibility while maintaining the same high-caliber curriculum and faculty in the campus based program.

“We are delighted in the success of our online students who have completed a rigorous academic degree that mirrors our on-campus option. Earning an MBA degree from Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business and Management delivers a values-centered degree from an accredited, internationally recognized business school with more than 40 years of experience,” stated Dr. David M. Smith, Interim Dean and Associate Professor of Economics at Pepperdine University. “Following the influence of our founder, George Graziadio, we are focused on building a responsible business practice that includes a global orientation that is entrepreneurial in spirit.”

“Students in the online MBA program are able to complete the degree in as few as six semesters, in concentrations such as finance, marketing, leadership or general management,” noted Blake Withall, Director of Online Programs. “With a Pepperdine network of more than 150,000 alumni, students and faculty, the Fully Employed Online MBA expands the opportunity to bring like-minded, talented, and highly qualified professionals together through experience-driven learning.”

The Graziadio School of Business and Management is currently accepting applications for its Spring, Summer, and Fall ’15 trimesters. For more information about the curriculum and the program requirements for Pepperdine University’s online fully employed MBA, go to or call 1-877-615-0148.
