Connecting Education to Business

Business theory meets
real-world application

Your success in business is the sum of your education and your experience. As a student of the Graziadio School of Business and Management, you will discover an online MBA that elevates both.

We place great emphasis on the practical side of learning and deliver a rigorous, experience-driven, and results-oriented program that allows you to connect with current business executives and immediately apply what you’re learning in the classroom to real business problems at existing companies, including your own.

Business to Life

How does the E2B program work and what can you expect to learn?

E2B - Bringing
Business to Life

The E2B project we worked on was more than an MBA class exercise – it was a real-world consulting project. Under the guidance of the professor and company executives, our group delivered a marketing plan of professional caliber. The company we worked for was counting on our findings and recommendations to execute a multi-million dollar opportunity in a new market. It was an exciting challenge and also an extremely worthwhile learning experience. This program will enrich your MBA experience and most importantly, your resume.
~ Santiago Giraldo, Business Development at SGB

Raytheon's participation in the Pepperdine E2B program continues to be a totally positive and rewarding experience. At the outset of our ITSS class project, we worked jointly to focus our objectives and expectations, and we made more progress in one session than we had previously made in months of struggling on our own. They saw possibilities way beyond our dreams. Finally, the creativity, enterprise, and enthusiasm of the teams returned so much more than our limited investment. We are actively pursuing some of the teams' concepts and look forward to participation in follow-up projects with Pepperdine.
~ Gill Tansley, Program Manager - Pasadena Operations Raytheon,
Technical Services Company

The E2B is really a unique component of the program, and it allowed me to work with clients across various industries. It gave me a great chance to really dive in, do research and develop strategic plans for the company I was working with.
~ Clifton Myers, 2015 Online MBA Graduate

Sometimes we can fall into doing things the way we’ve always done them. In this E2B project, the students challenged our original thinking, and their outside thinking was equivalent to having 15 consultants working with us. As a direct result of the project, we are working on a new marketing effort.
~ John Pierce, Director, Marketing
Disney Regional Entertainment

I felt the E2B was a great addition to the online MBA program because it was a real life experience, and I don’t think that’s something that you can find at a lot of other schools. It was nice to feel like we’re actually working towards something and towards someone who really needed help with whatever project they were trying to get off the ground. So it felt a little more real life per se than just doing a project out of a textbook or just doing a product based off a company that we could find online.
~ Tara Clark, 2015 Online MBA Graduate

The Pepperdine MBA students internalized our objectives; took initiative; and gave creative, professional, and feasible recommendations which will be carefully considered when Ticketmaster Entertainment launches its corporate social responsibility initiatives. As real an experience as anyone can get in the corporate world, the Pepperdine E2B program provides a platform for students to prove they can simultaneously learn and contribute to the highest degree. We enjoyed the entire experience and would recommend the Pepperdine E2B program to any colleague.
~ Wendy Webb
Chief Communications & Investor Relations Officer, Ticketmaster
